Planning

We start by understanding your vision, budget, and timeline. From lot selection to feasibility, we help you make informed decisions before breaking ground.

We'll discuss your goals, explore available lots in your preferred communities, and assess what's possible within your budget. We review zoning, setbacks, and site conditions so there are no surprises. By the end of planning, you'll have a clear path forward and a realistic timeline.

Design

We work closely with architects and design professionals to turn your vision into a buildable plan. Floor plans, elevations, and every detail are refined with your input.

Whether you're starting from a stock plan or working with a custom design, we ensure the layout, room sizes, and flow match how you live. We review structural details, window placement, ceiling heights, and exterior elevations together. Revisions are part of the process—we iterate until the plan feels right.

Selections

Choose your finishes, fixtures, and materials. Our team guides you through options that fit your style and budget, ensuring a cohesive look throughout your home.

From flooring and countertops to lighting, plumbing fixtures, and paint colors, we walk you through each decision. We help you balance quality and cost, and we keep selections organized so nothing falls through the cracks. You'll have a design center experience with clear options and timelines for each choice.

Construction Pt 1: Dirt to Sheetrock

Your front-end superintendent oversees every aspect of this phase—from site prep and foundation through framing, rough-in, and sheetrock.

The front-end superintendent manages excavation, concrete, framing, roofing, rough plumbing and electrical, HVAC installation, and insulation. They coordinate subcontractors, maintain the schedule, and ensure quality at every stage. You'll receive regular updates and can visit the site at key milestones. This phase transforms your lot into a fully enclosed, dried-in structure ready for the next phase.

Construction Pt 2: Sheetrock to Finish Team

Your back-end superintendent takes over from sheetrock through trim, paint, and all interior systems—preparing the home for the finish team.

The back-end superintendent oversees drywall, taping and finishing, interior paint, trim and millwork, cabinet installation, flooring, and tile. They manage the transition from rough construction to finished spaces, ensuring each trade completes their work to our standards before the next begins. They coordinate inspections, manage punch lists, and keep the project on track until the finish team arrives.

Construction Pt 3: Finish Team

This is where everyone comes together—front-end superintendent, back-end superintendent, owners, and our dedicated Finish Team—for 2–3 weeks of final polish.

The Finish Team is what sets Huff apart. For 2–3 weeks per home, our specialized finish crew returns alongside both superintendents and ownership to ensure every selection is perfect, every detail meets our standards, and you will be more than satisfied with your new Huff home. They touch up paint, adjust hardware, perfect trim fit, and address any final items. It's an all-hands commitment to quality that you won't find elsewhere.

Homeowner Walkthrough

Before closing, we walk you through your new home. We review systems, finishes, and care instructions so you're confident and ready to move in.

We show you how everything works—HVAC, electrical panels, plumbing shutoffs, and smart home features. We point out warranty information, maintenance tips, and who to call if you need support. We address any punch-list items and make sure you're fully comfortable before you receive the keys.

1 year warranty

We stand behind our work. Your home comes with a 1-year warranty for your peace of mind. We're here to address any issues and ensure your satisfaction.

If something isn't right during your first year, we'll fix it. We respond promptly to warranty requests and work with you to resolve any concerns. Our goal is that you're completely satisfied with your Huff home long after move-in.
